  • Ensure accuracy of home closing transaction data across internal systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and external requirements
  • Manage corporate payables, vendor relationships, and cash balance
  • Assist with audit, tax, and valuation engagements with third party firms

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA candidate preferred
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience; Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Strong project management and process design skills; highly organized, independent, and self-motivated
  • Data-obsessed and unafraid to go down to the lowest level of detail for truth
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and critically, and thrive in a dynamic and often ambiguous work environment while maintaining high standards of work quality

Bonus points!

  • Experience working in Real Estate
  • Internal accounting experience in addition to Big 4 experience

What we offer:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible, unlimited vacation
  • Regular team lunches
  • Discounted fitness benefits
  • 401(k)
  • Commuter benefits
  • FSA + HSA
  • Learning + development stipend
  • Meaningful equity in the company

Even if you don’t meet all the requirements, we encourage you to apply! If you’d be excited to show up for work each day, we’d be excited to have you on our team.

Here at Ribbon we’re not scared of differences. It’s how we break new ground. As we scale and we help families from every walk of life, the team we build must be reflective of the diversity that we serve. Together, we’ve built and will continue to grow, a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone has a seat at the table and the space to be their most authentic self. Ribbon is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we support, celebrate, and cherish all the things that make our teammates who they are.
