We recently closed our $40M Series C, bringing our total funding amount to $70M from top-tier VCs. nTopology's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing operational and strategic support to ensure the business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.

The staff accountant will join the small and growing Finance team, and play an integral part in scaling the organization and establishing a world-class finance function. The role can be remote or based in NYC (our HQ).

Responsibilities:

• Support the team with month-end closing, compliance, bank and credit card reconciliations, etc.
• Support all Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable activities
• Continuously review the company’s financial information, systems, and policies to identify inaccuracies and propose improvements
• Assist with federal and state tax calculations, tax returns, and audits
• Manage and comply with local, state, federal and international government reporting requirements
• Collaborate with cross-function departments on all-levels for various business decisions
• Assist with implementing robust internal accounting processes in line with US GAAP

Qualifications:

• You have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• You have an audit background (preferred not required) and/or have worked in a fast-growing startup (ideally SaaS)
• You have a rich knowledge of accounting/GAAP principles
• You thrive on change and are flexible enough to adapt to a high-growth environment
• You're proactive and enjoy learning on a daily basis
• You are collaborative and able to work independently and ensure commitments are adhered to with high quality output
