Clyde is an end-to-end product protection platform that is re-thinking the way retailers increase loyalty and drive revenue, and the way customers manage their purchases. We are tackling the $50B per year extended warranty market and becoming the de facto solution in the space by leveraging an intense focus on product, design, and customer experience. Clyde delivers product protection plans directly to consumers as they shop, owning the relationship from purchase to claim submission to resolution. We know that the relationship between retailers and their customers is far from over after checkout so we’re building products to deliver value at every stage of this relationship.

As a Strategic Financial Analyst at Clyde, you will help drive Clyde’s growth by partnering with sales, marketing, merchant success, and analytics to understand business trends and find opportunities to drive sustainable growth. Additionally, you will create pricing proposals that demonstrate the value we can drive for our merchants. You will use your deeply analytical ability and attention to detail to ensure we are putting ourselves in the best position to win! This role will report to Clyde’s Director of Business Operations. You will:

Requirements

An Opportunity to:

  • Provide department leaders with actionable recommendations that support the organization’s goals based on financial and business analysis
  • Lead pricing analysis for existing and new products and package them for consumption by internal teams and prospective customers
  • Prepare complex analyses and presentations for external stakeholders, including active customers and auditors
  • Create and maintain financial reporting for the senior leadership team to drive real-time insight
  • Assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects, including Board meetings, audits, and internal budgeting & planning cycles

What we look for:

  • 2+ years professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or financial role at a tech company
  • Advanced Excel skills with a strong handle on constructing complex analysis and financial models; basic SQL proficiency is a plus
  • Superior communication skills
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Ability to take projects from idea to completion with limited oversight
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus
