Beyond technical skills, we’re seeking someone with strong financial and commercial acumen who can connect data insights to business levers such as revenue growth, margin optimization, and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including variance, trend, and ratio analysis, to identify business opportunities and risks.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to forecast future performance and support investment and strategic decisions.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes by collaborating with department heads to understand their needs and align with overall company goals.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to financial and business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and track the financial performance of business initiatives and implemented solutions against initial projections.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the finance department and other business units, communicating financial requirements and addressing concerns.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide support for special projects, new business initiatives, and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (i.e., CFA) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a similar corporate finance role within e-commerce, including at least 2 years of B2C experience.
  • Required experience working in a startup environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced functions).
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, APIs, and data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with financial software (i.e., SAP, Xoro, Expensify, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
