GSTV is currently looking for a freelance contract writer for a period of approximately 5 months, through the end of 2024. This contractor may be located anywhere within the continental U.S.

 

FREELANCE WRITER

 

Summary:

The freelancer will help to create high-quality client and partner-facing content for GSTV. The content will be used across various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, marketing materials, sales collateral and other digital and print media. The freelance writer should have B2B writing and storytelling experience, as well as be able to bring research and insights to life, a strong command of language, excellent research skills, and the ability to write in different styles and tones as needed. This person should also have overall familiarity with SEO and content marketing principles. A freelancer who has knowledge of the Media and Advertising, is preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Content Creation
    • Develop and assist in producing 3 client/partner-facing playbooks that demonstrate how to best utilize the GSTV media platform.
    • Write engaging and informative articles (ad industry thought leadership), blog posts, and web content.
    • Develop compelling social media posts and marketing copy.
    • Create detailed product descriptions, reviews, and promotional materials.
    • Produce e-books, award submissions, whitepapers, and case studies as required.
  • Research
    • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics.
    • Gather information from credible sources to ensure accuracy and depth.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and news relevant to the content.
  • Editing and Proofreading
    • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, coherence, and error-free writing.
    • Revise content based on feedback from editors and key stakeholders.
  • SEO Optimization
    • Incorporate SEO best practices to enhance content visibility.
    • Use appropriate keywords, meta descriptions, and tags to improve search engine rankings.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with the GSTV marketing team, designers, insights team and other stakeholders to align content with overall marketing strategies.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Project Management
    • Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously and meet SOW deadlines.
  • Project Deliverables
    • High-quality written content as specified in the project brief.
    • Regular updates and drafts for review and feedback.
    • Finalized content ready for publication, formatted as required (e.g., Word documents, Google Docs, etc.).
