Head of Marketing Analytics
As Head of Marketing Analytics you’ll play a critical role in defining the strategic plans for ClassPass’s growth marketing organization, while also leading a talented team of analysts to develop deeper insights into ClassPass’s growth channels. You should expect to interact directly with ClassPass’s Marketing organization & company-wide leadership to inform the Growth plan, and will need to drive cross-channel & cross-functional alignment (i.e., across Product, Engineering, Pricing & Inventory, Customer Support, Partnerships) to ensure successful execution to it. Analytical rigor and attention to detail are critical for success, but you’ll also need to step-back and apply a broader strategic lens to the business to drive broader, sustainable impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop product & market specific growth plans in collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Finance; coordinate with company-wide Product roadmap planning processes
- Define growth metrics and develop tracking/reporting processes to improve visibility into performance and to enable deeper understanding of growth drivers
- Drive forecasting & modeling of overall ClassPass network growth, proactively alert Marketing & other company leadership on any growth hurdles or challenges
- Develop foundational analytics, dashboards, and reporting that enable decisions on the portfolio of growth channels and our overall growth operations
- Work closely with company leadership and cross-functional teams on critical topics or strategic initiatives that will shape the future of the company & its operations
- Manage, develop, coach, and hire a team of experienced analysts
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in management consulting, banking, PE, or VC
- 2+ years experience in an strategic planning or operations role at a tech company; experience with a rapidly scaling business a plus
- 4+ years experience managing & developing a team of experienced hires
- Practical business sense with the ability to translate between strategic business decisions and their operational implications
- Demonstrated experience & excellence in leading complex and cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues & detailed analysis into simple, structured frameworks with concrete action plans
- Comfort with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a rapidly evolving business landscape
- Functional expertise in Sales & Marketing in B2B and/or B2C companies; eCommerce and online marketing experience a plus
- Strong excel modeling experience; SQL and BI/data visualization tool experience a plus; prior marketing analytics experience a plus
