We’re seeking an experience driven Operations Associate, well versed in people process design and implementation, as well as compensation and benefits to ensure HR initiatives run smoothly and contribute to a happy and healthy work environment.

As a part of a People team who aims to enhance every aspect of the employee lifecycle at Stash, the Operations team is high impact. We're Analysts and Project Managers in charge of people services.  

Our role is to ensure everyone at Stash has a thoughtful, thorough and efficient experience, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.  We develop the reports that people want to read, provide the info people need, and answer the questions they have not yet considered. 

We’re in high growth mode and need someone excited by data and optimization to make sure we're giving our employees the most efficient experience possible while making our own systems and processes scalable. 

The right person will be an organized, self-starter who knows how to prioritize their day and build meaningful relationships across the organization quickly. What you’ll do:

Onboarding:

  • Support the People Operations Team in coordination of on-boarding and orientation processes, including interacting directly with new hires to help them navigate the pre-employment process, owning HR system setup, and background checks for the UK/US region.
  • Build and facilitate the induction schedule for all new hires in the UK & US. Manage the 3 day Stash orientation program for all new hires; coordinate meetings with presenters/ new hires. 
  • Create and maintain digital copies of employee files and other essential HR documents. Provide administrative support to any Immigration related tasks such as job postings; approvals; documentation. 

Employee Experience 

  • Be the first point of contact for all general inquiries related to Perks & Benefits; leave of absence programs, parental leave/FML/State specific programs. 
  • Execute letters of Employment; Immigration documents; Employee Separation & Offboarding Letters
  • Act as a liaison between payroll; employee; manager to communicate leave benefits and manage the absence & return to work. 

Systems, Tools & Process 

  • Support HRIS implementation and provide support in the maintenance of the HRIS system 
  • Partner with the HRBPs; Talent leaders in the delivery of major projects such as the Leadership Review Process, Performance Check In Process, Compensation planning; employee engagement surveys; automate and improve HR processes, creating streamlined, simple, user-friendly tools where possible. 
  • Keep systems accurate; update when there are changes in reporting structure/organization changes and separation/ transfers
  • Support Talent Acquisition in management of systems onboarding and offboarding of Independent (1099) Contractors. Be the backup for HR Ops. team for coordination activities.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3 - 5 years of HR or People Operations experience with exposure to a range of HR functions such as on-boarding, off-boarding, compliance, leaves, payroll, benefits, etc.
  • Strong tech and innovation background; using technology to make people processes easy
  • HRIS implementation and optimization experience 
  • Strong organizational skills, prioritization, timeliness; ability to navigate a fast paced environment with high  touch People delivery orientation
