The Team:
The Recruiting team at Datadog is responsible for scaling the growth of our company size. Our recruiters are strategic business partners, matchmakers, sellers and marketeers, all wrapped into one. We contribute to the bottom line and have high visibility to leadership teams as we partner with our business leaders on building their teams with top talent within multiple business areas. You will have the opportunity to shape, mold, and impact how fast we grow, the way we’re viewed, and the candidate experience.
The Opportunity:
As our first dedicated Campus Recruiter for the Business Recruiting team, you will have an exciting opportunity to kick start the careers of recent and soon-to-be graduates interested in tech industry careers across Sales, Finance, Legal, People, Recruiting, Marketing and Creative. Your task will be to scout and hire the best early career talent for our teams, and create and guide them through a high touch internship program. This role has a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. Touching every aspect of the candidate experience, you’ll run campus recruiting events and manage university partnerships, as well as guide candidates through screening and interviewing, preparation and follow up, and acting as an advisor and trusted resource to hiring managers and interview teams.
This is a full-time and onsite role in our NYC office (once we return to the office).
You Will:
- Create a unique and exciting experience that best positions Datadog as a premier talent brand on university campuses
- Own the interview lifecycle for business internships for undergraduate and graduate students
- Collaborate with leadership to design or streamline interview processes
- Manage campus recruitment events (e.g., career fairs & info sessions) from planning through execution at key universities
- Be the main point of contact for key university partners, student groups, and external partnerships
- Support and guide interns throughout the program
- >20% travel will be likely upon return to office
You Are:
- An experienced recruiter with at least 1-2 years of campus recruiting experience
- An excellent communicator who is able to work with key stakeholders to create buy-in
- Understanding of the university landscape
- Autonomous with a demonstrated ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple positions
- Passionate about diversity & inclusion
- Able to gather KPIs, synthesize information, and present findings to various audiences (executives, senior leaders, and junior team members)
