Job Description

As Head of Total Rewards at Butterfly Network, you will help shape the strategy and vision of our Total Rewards philosophy and the operational execution of that strategy.  You will define compensation and equity programs that attract and retain top talent, ensure best-in-class benefits for our employees, and assess incentive solutions both short and long term. Finally, you will create processes that ensure collaboration with our executive team and all business functions.


As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be: 

  • Create a comprehensive total rewards philosophy that ensures Butterfly Network is highly competitive and able to recruit and retain top industry talent
  • Develop and recommend quantitative total rewards models and revisions that are consistent with current trends and that are aligned to corporate objectives
  • Manage strategic compensation planning, administration, and reporting
  • Evaluate company-wide compensation ranges for both existing and future roles using relevant market data and insights, and create benchmarking best practices in order to maintain competitive positioning within our market
  • Work directly to support C-suite on all executive compensation and support for all Compensation Committee initiatives
  • Use metrics, reports and tools to inform total rewards program decisions that analyze business outcomes
  • Establish effective ways of communicating total rewards to both current employees and prospective candidates
  • Lead the development and completion of compensation reviews and recommendations related to merit, promotions, equity increases; Assist with design and administration of sales compensation calculations and processes
  • Design and develop recognition programs
  • Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.


Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 15+ years experience in total rewards analysis and administration 
  • Expertise of job architecture and market data
  • Demonstrated ability to define and solve practical total rewards problems
  • Familiarity with multiple forms of equity incentives, including but not limited to stock options and RSUs
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work well within a fast-paced environment

Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!):

  • You know how to deliver pressing daily needs with an eye towards achieving longer-term objectives
  • Have worked for a publicly traded company
  • Strong collaborator and influencer; able to build strong partnerships with internal and external partners
  • Global experience
  • Experience with Benefits, 401k, and HRIS systems
