Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team as we continue to focus on growing out our various tech teams to meet our increasing client demands. Though we sell to financial institutions, we act like a true tech-driven start-up and need a recruiter who thrives in taking the initiative while understanding the challenges of this highly competitive market.
Our team is lean (and growing!) and we pride ourselves on getting things done and having fun while we do it. You will be highly visibly and empowered to take ownership and partner with the Global Head of Recruiting to create efficiencies and enhance current processes in the name of attracting top talent into our MarketAxess family.
You have a track record of taking initiative, thinking of creative ways to bring in technology talent (as well as hires across all business operations) and exceeding hiring goals.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for full recruiting lifecycle including team briefs, stakeholder management, devising and utilizing innovative sourcing technologies, platforms and strategies to source and recruit top technical talent
- Work closely with Hiring Managers to craft compelling and targeted job descriptions, enhance interview processes and negotiate/present offers
- Manage our Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters) maintaining candidate activity to ensure data integrity
What You Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- A go-getter mentality and an ability to thrive in an environment where you need to be a strategic thinker and self-starter
- Experience activating passive, technical candidates in this highly competitive and remote market through various means
- An excitement to represent MarketAxess and be able to confidently articulate our story (who we are, where we are headed and what we need) to candidates
- Proven ability to organize and manage numerous candidates, interview processes, pipelines, etc. at once
- Ideally, success “talking tech” to candidates and diving into technical skills ideally around Java, Microservices, Containerization and AWS
- Prior experience working within or supporting FinTech firms
