The Paxos People Team is looking for a Contract Technical Recruiter. This role will join the Talent Team and focus on building pipeline for all engineering roles. We're ideally looking for someone who will quickly learn Paxos' recruiting process, as well as any role requirements related to open positions. 

What you will do:

  • Run full life cycle recruiting for 2-4 roles in our engineering organization
  • Build a solid pipeline of qualified candidates using creative sourcing methods
  • Ensure candidates are actioned quickly, targeting less than 30 days from app to offer
  • Work with the internal recruiting team on candidate coordination and contribute to a positive candidate experience
  • Think critically about candidate quality and how your candidates will impact Paxos and our bottom line

What you need to have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in recruiting, ideally working with tech companies
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours onsite weekly. (We are not accepting remote at this time)
  • Experience recruiting engineers and product managers is a must
  • In-depth knowledge of the technical landscape in NYC
  • Demonstrated experience closing senior candidates
  • Strong technical aptitude is a must. You should be comfortable working with Google Suite, conferencing software, and be able to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Integrity, good judgement, and discretion are absolute musts
  • You value diversity and have ideas on how to make recruiting more inclusive
