Our People team is seeking an experienced and driven Global Head of Compensation. This position will serve as a key member of the Total Rewards team and have a focus on building a strong functional foundation and will ensure our compensation strategy is aligned with attracting, motivating, retaining the best talent - aligning rewards with our performance management practices.

What You'll Do:

Build a strong functional foundation:

    • Benchmark and utilize market data for our broad-based compensation and equity (new hire grants and refreshers) programs to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness and ensure alignment with our business growth, financial, and people team priorities
    • Manage the compensation cycle, including completion of a balanced portfolio of surveys, annual benchmarking, and update and create salary bands for new job profiles and refresh existing bands annually
    • Partner with the Talent team to implement a cadence of benchmarking cycles to educate, analyze and assess market data, industry trends, and best practices
    • Lead the annual compensation and equity grants processes, from devising program strategy to training managers to reviewing recommendations
    • Evaluate and implement process improvements to the HRIS, which may include tools or systems that optimize our compensation workflows
    • Own compliance with respect to all compensation programs
    • Evaluate global market conditions and provide recommendations based on local talent market and labor laws

Communicate and collaborate:

    • Build strong partnerships with the Business, Stock Admin, HRBP, Talent, Payroll, Legal, Finance, and Accounting teams as well as our compensation consultants and 3rd party vendors
    • Develop compensation communications and educational materials to ensure that compensation programs are fully understood and appropriately valued by all stakeholders; 
    • Design and train managers and the Talent team on key compensation issues, concepts, or processes
    • Strategize with the Talent Acquisition team to develop competitive offers rooted in market data and aligned with our compensation philosophy for new hires and existing employees

Advice, Guide, and Support:

    • Serve as the key owner of preparation of materials for our Compensation Committee and Board of Directors 
    • Utilize prior experience to help inform our work and strategic direction in both US and new International Markets (such as Germany, UK, France, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Brazil)
    • Drive analytical rigor and deep analysis on the effectiveness and competitiveness of existing programs
    • Innovate and react quickly as business and market realities change, staying up to date on best practices and trends; bring global knowledge of forward-thinking practices in rewards to design practices that fit best with Nooms' goals and culture

What We Looking For:

  • At least 8 years of experience specific to Compensation
  • LTI / Equity Plans experience with private companies/LLCs and/or public companies
  • Knowledge of leading compensation across multiple geographies with a high level of local needs
  • In-depth and comprehensive understanding of Executive Compensation practices
  • High level of discretion related to employee compensation and equity information
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and adjust to changing priorities
  • Very strong communication skills and customer orientation
  • Prior experience with HRIS systems
  • Project management skills and ability to lead and work with different departments in connection with equity administration
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
