Location: Bronx, NY (E. 140th & Walton Ave.)

Comp range: $50-$60k

Bennies: 10 days PTO. Additional benefits (including health) rolling out soon.

Why this role exists: We are expecting a high level of growth over the next few years, and will need someone to help us find the right people for our open positions. We have a great opportunity to build a robust team capable of handling all of the junk removal needs for the city that never sleeps and its surrounding neighborhoods. We are looking for someone who is a star recruiter who can help coordinate HR functions with our external provider.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 2+ years of professional hands-on experience in full cycle recruiting

  • Ability to implement training programs as necessary

Bonus if you have:

  • Previous experience recruiting laborers

  • Experience in coordinating or implementing general HR benefits/laws/principles

  • College degree or applicable experience

 

Objective Outcomes:

  • Find/Attract and hire qualified team members

  • Provide accurate & timely reporting

  • Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires

  • Coordinate actions with our external HR and legal provider

  • Facilitate performance reviews

  • Implement proper hiring/tracking/dismissal procedures

  • Help develop the company culture

 

Core Competencies:

  • Able to process and screen a high volume of applicants

  • Training and employee progression

  • Design and implement coaching services as needed

  • Manage systems for employee growth

 

Hard Skills:

  • GSuite

  • Great presentation skills

  • Experienced with the full hiring cycle

  • Designs systems and processes
