Job Description

As a member of the People Operations team, this is a unique leadership opportunity to join our disruptive global technology company and be part of a cohesive team focused on formulating People Operations strategies. This position will build strong partnerships as the Director, People Operations Business Partner based in New York and supporting Sales, Client Services & Marketing across North America while collaborating with other HR leaders and their respective staff to foster employee engagement.

In addition to this strategic team-building role, this position also requires a specific focus on further developing the culture and values of the organization. Therefore, a high EQ and a desire to foster a culture of collaboration, hard work and a passion for excellence is a must. The Director of People must be trusted by the employees and respected by leadership, with an ability to stimulate a strong innovative culture. The role will require jumping between long-term investment in company culture with short- and long-term business goals. The Director of People must be a passionate leader who will inspire the current HR team and educate, advise and influence business leaders.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Understand the fast growth of the company and the impact this has on the teams that you support.
  • Serve as a business partner to our Senior Managers, understanding our business strategy and goals, and how it relates to our organizational strategy and people strategy .
  • Help business leaders understand how to optimize their partnership with the HRBP and COE teams to leverage the full HR delivery service business model.
  • Utilize business metrics to be informed on opportunities wherein innovative people solutions can be developed & leveraged.
  • Position the HRBP function as strategic change management partner to consult, advise and execute on priorities that includes: leadership management transitions, reorganization initiatives and workforce planning activities.
  • Provide expertise to Senior Managers as it pertains to talent development, organizational design (ensuring it is at an optimal structure in order to scale), training & development, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Manage, direct, develop and inspire HRBP teams to achieve their full potential as direct reports.
  • Advocate and promote HR initiatives and programs that align with our company’s goals and values.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide support on talent and people priorities for their teams that included: talent management, performance management, progressive discipline and Inclusion & Belonging.
  • Create Global HRBP efficiencies in our “act locally, think globally” approach to create a seamless experience & engagement for the Global leaders and their teams.
  • Be an advocate of TTD culture and people champion. A culture influencer.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • At least 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, supporting multiple different functions of HR including performance management, organizational development, people strategy, succession management, employee relations, and etc.
  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in situations requiring change and evolution.
  • Strong knowledge of HR and employment laws/regulations in order to make recommendations on how to stay compliant.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior level managers and other stakeholders to drive change.
  • Fluency across a variety of HR disciplines, including organizational development, leadership and talent development, HR process design and HRIS, compensation management, HR administration and diversity and inclusion
  • Demonstrated success in taking a data driven approach to develop innovative solutions that balance the business strategy and employee needs
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or equivalent
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources is highly preferred.
  • Experience presenting concise, thoughtful, analytical presentations to Senior leadership.
  • Ideally has held an HR or Senior leadership role for a geographically dispersed workforce
