What We're Looking For:
The Director of Human Resources will oversee all human resources functions at Domio. This person will work to deliver outstanding employee experiences through projects and processes that seek to improve employee lifecycle. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on People-related topics and champion our company culture. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a positive attitude and exhibits patience, teamwork, critical thinking skills, and emotional intelligence.
At Domio You Will:
- Be a trusted advisor in all sensitive People areas such as employee relations, investigations, leaves of absences, and compensation
- Partner with leadership to develop manager and team trainings focused on development, culture, and career progression
- Perform orientations, conduct employee onboarding, and help organize training & development initiatives
- Establish culture initiatives/programming and model company values
- Own projects in support of the employee experience
- Plan, implement, and manage administration of all benefit plans
- Oversee the biweekly payroll process in conjunction with finance, ensuring timely and accurate records
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
- Research and support international expansion as it relates to employer rules in governing countries
- Manage employee performance lifecycle - reviews, pulse check-ins, engagement surveys, and career development plans
- Collaborate on collective bargaining agreements in respective cities
- Manage the recruitment and hiring process and related reporting
Who You Are:
- 5-7 years of generalist Human Resources experience required
- 1+ year of experience managing a team
- Current PHR or SHRM-SCP Certification or equivalent
- Experience working with collective bargaining units
- Experience with full employee lifecycle
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement and exceeding expectations
- Analytical skills, including reporting and synthesizing data to identify themes and create solutions to address those issues
- Creative, responsive, and adaptive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
