Director, Learning & Development
As Movable Ink's Learning & Development Director, you will own creating the strategy and programs to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies of our teams and leaders. As a fast paced, high growth SaaS company, our training needs are continually evolving at the same pace that we are rapidly scaling in all disciplines throughout the organization. By working across all functions and levels, you will create a broad based, dynamic learning and development program for not only our employees.
Success in this role looks like:
- Partner with executive leaders to create and implement a leadership development framework with deep focus on growing our leaders with a robust management curriculum, ranging from basic fundamentals and new leader transitions to more targeted and advanced topics
- Own all aspects of learning and development and partner with the Product and Sales trainers/leaders at Movable Ink
- Create blended learning programs for manager and individual contributors; own everything from creation to delivery

- Develop multi-level leadership strategy including linking competencies and values to business applications such as job profiling, career progression and coaching
- Develop & deliver creative blended learning programs internally – includes creating, curating and maintaining content which is delivered in a variety of formats including live events, leadership huddles, lunch and learns, roundtable/group coaching, classroom style, virtual learning environment and interactive workshops
- Collaborate with various leaders to assess the need of professional development; design and deploy relevant programs, scenario-based or business specific training to build critical skills and capabilities
- Keep current with the latest trends, best practices, technologies, and emerging innovations in the training and learning and development
- Diversity and inclusion lens and active participation in the Diversity and Inclusion employee resource group
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree from an accredited university in Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources or Psychology
- Experience in creating content across variations delivery formats, including e-authoring tools to drive engagement and sustainability
- Experience in both corporate and start-up environments are a plus
- Advanced facilitation and communication skills at all levels within an organization and outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and have the ability to plan, organize and carry out multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, motivate others and complete projects from start to end
