About the role

We are seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to help grow our incredible team. In this role, you will take ownership of our growth strategy by building and leading all facets of talent acquisition. Ideal candidate can manage full-cycle recruiting for all roles and all levels and is passionate about finding the best people in the world. Key Responsibilities

  • Be the face of GlossGenius during the recruiting process.
  • Design, build and execute an incredible candidate experience from the initial application to the final on-boarding process.
  • Identify talent gaps and build role descriptions and requirements to attract top talent.
  • Develop recruitment strategy which may include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, and talent planning.
  • Build a strong candidate pipeline through various channels including, but not limited to Linkedin, AngelList, Indeed, Facebook Jobs, Hired, and all other job boards including employee referrals
  • Source active and passive candidates through non-traditional channels and mediums.
  • Partner with leaders to strategize on recruiting initiatives, understand trends, provide competitive intelligence, and ensure headcount alignment.
  • Perform in person and phone interviews with candidates, and coordinate candidate experience and vetting across other members of the team.
  • Ability to create and sustain monthly and quarterly recruiting metrics to show progress and deliver reports to key company leaders for their areas.
  • Participate in employment events, career fairs, and other relevant industry events
  • Build, maintain, and  inform the candidate on benefits, salary, incentives, and GlossGenius culture.
  • Manage and administer employee benefits for existing GlossGenius employees.

  • Highly systematic thinking and process driven as demonstrated by prior work or experience. 
  • Strong ability to connect with candidates, identify incredible talent, and sell them on GlossGenius’s mission and values. 
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing and leveraging talent acquisition strategies and best practices to help drive measurable business results.
  • Experience building, coaching, and developing teams. 
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university.

  • Process-driven: You should be able to take something that is structured and build a process or structure around it, since you will be starting initiatives from scratch in this role.

Other Details

  • This is for a full-time position in New York, NY (our offices are based in the coolest part of Soho, downtown NYC).
