We are seeking a highly motivated Workplace Experience leader to lead our East Coast team. A strategic thinker with experience managing office services in a growing environment. Demonstrated experience in facilities, hospitality and organizational management is required. You should pride yourself on your quality of work and relationship building skills. Diligent follow-up, attention to detail, and an ability to develop and execute best practices that align with our culture, will be a big asset. If you thrive in an exciting and evolving environment, you'll play a critical part in scaling our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and motivating a diverse experience team with varied skill sets and at different stages in their careers.
  • Making guests and employees feel like the New York office is a unique, welcoming, and efficient place to work and visit.
  • Work with cross-functional resources to build a best in class workplace experience.
  • Be a numbers person, knowing how to manage a departmental budget will be key in this role. From finding cost savings to making a little go a long away are just some of the fiscal attributes we’re looking for.
  • Work across our brands supporting social events, from the annual holiday party to the regular happy hours, the workplace experience team are there to deliver those experiences that make our people smile.
  • Communicate effectively, on a regularly scheduled cadence, to ensure partner alignment.
  • Manage office space planning and coordinate move logistics. Ensure all new hires are set up appropriately and leavers have a smooth transition.
  • Work in tandem with the front desk staff, day porters, food service team, building engineers, and facility coordinator to manage vendors and make sure the office is fun, productive, and efficient.
  • Balance a wide range of long-term projects to improve the day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Always look to make us better, proactively identify and recommend opportunities that focus on better methods to achieve objectives which may include: process efficiencies, quality improvement, risk mitigation, cost improvements and any other relevant factors that influence workplace experience.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of operations and office management experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment, hotel, or professional services environment.
  • Experience managing people and growing them for success.
  • Available to lead projects as the business demands. Day, evening, and weekend execution is standard for this role.
  •  Demonstrated entrepreneurial skill-set, delivers hustle with style and grace.
  • You have a strong attention to detail, organizational planning, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • You could bring strong people and project management, organizational, logistical, research skills, and a demonstrated ability to run multiple projects and priorities within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • You have an active, hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • You have a real passion for social media and groundbreaking news/media content you might be just the person we need to help scale our East Coast offices.
