Employee Engagement Specialist
Who You Are....
MadHive is looking for an energetic and creative self-starter to join our Culture & Strategy team. In this role you will be driving a cultural transformation to support our transition to a mixed on-site, off-site company. You will work cross-functionally to support and execute strategies that create a meaningful employee experience through the entire employee life-cycle. As part of our broader employee engagement work, you will help create and implement programs that bring our employee experience mission to life. A successful candidate cares deeply about building culture and has experience in event planning, customer service and project management.
What You Will Be Doing....
- Create “out of the box” initiatives to enhance the employee experience throughout the employee life cycle
- Produce and maintain a company-wide calendar of events that provide meaningful experiences for employees to connect virtually
- Point of contact for all new hires from orientation through onboarding
- Execute programs and initiatives that focus on promoting employee appreciation and recognition
- Partner with HR and Operations Teams to support recruiting and employee development efforts; maintain upward feedback schedule
- Execute and coordinate various employee surveys and feedback loops; administer survey platforms
- Provide administrative support to the Culture & Strategy Team
- Organize documentation to ensure that current versions of department and employee communications are up-to-date and accurate; archive and organize previous versions
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to enhance internal communications and articulate employer brand
- Format and maintain and internal employee engagement portal with updated communications and activities
- Handle inventory of swag and office supplies
- Be well versed in current trends around organizational culture and experience
Qualifications....
- Bachelor's Degree (in Communication is a plus!)
- 2+ years total related work experience at a fast-paced, hyper-growth company
- Excellent people skills, writing, and editing -- bring an ability to think and communicate information visually
- Passion for developing culture and desire to champion a new employee engagement strategy - creativity!
- Ability to follow through on commitments and meet assigned deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong desire for collaboration and teamwork
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable with change and know how and when to be an effective and successful change agent
- High degree of organizational and time management skills
