Head of People
We are looking for a Head of People to manage our team culture, org design, performance management, team learning/development, HR nuts and bolts, employer brand and recruiting. Because of the rapid growth of the organization and its reliance on a mission-driven workforce, the development of culture, performance management and career development programs is a top priority. Recruiting top talent is a huge key to our success; you would also lead the effort to find exceptional candidates for both executive and mid-level positions that touched every functional part of our company. Ideally you have some experience supporting recruitment activities for technology companies, sourcing technical and non-technical roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead the on-going design and execution of consistently bettering the team culture, staff onboarding, training and development programs to improve staff skills, leadership competencies, communication, and effectiveness.
- Work with leadership to proactively work towards a future org design, performance system, HR satisfaction and employer brand.
- Analyze and improve the existing recruiting strategy
- Manage the recruiting process (ATS, Interviews, etc.)
- Help build more effective cross-departmental collaboration and internal communications across the organization.
- Design and implement on-going improvements to talent management strategies and programs including recruitment, training and development, engagement, retention, and succession.
Additional Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Passion for Particle’s mission, vision, and values.
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Head of People or similar role.
- Experience building culture at rapidly growing organizations, preferably in mission-driven organizations.
- Experience recruiting high quality candidates for technical and non-technical roles at growing technology companies
- A tenacious attitude for finding the right candidates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
