The Role:
As the Head of People you will be the first hire dedicated to bringing in and retaining Maestro’s #1 asset, its people. You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, motivating and retaining the team at Maestro. You will act as a champion for our culture and will support the CEO, CTO, and team leaders, allowing the company to develop and grow quickly. In this role you will be responsible for all people related activities. We think Maestro is already a great place to work, however to continue successfully growing we need to make sure it continues to be a great place to work!
This position is a key strategic role, helping to grow the business and allowing us to build a unique and strong people oriented culture. You will have significant autonomy to tackle any areas that bring in and retain talent.
- Build and lead the talent management function, including recruiting, onboarding and talent development.
- Build and drive scalable solutions around making our leaders better managers, growing our team’s capabilities, and driving employee retention
- Use people-related data to drive better decision making and develop key metrics to measure employee happiness, performance, engagement, and retention.
- Design and lead an unbiased recruiting process and work cross-functionally with talent, internal teams, and external recruiters to advertise vacancies and manage our candidate pipeline.
- Create an incredible employee experience from onboarding to ongoing development.
