As our Head of Talent Acquisition, you will get to lead the team that literally builds healthcare companies. How many leaders can say they built multiple companies a year? 

You will report to and work with the Head of Talent & People at our New York City headquarters.

What you'll do:

  • Run the best talent acquisition machine: Hire every founding team and Redesign Health hires on time with high quality hires
    • Hit agreed upon recruiting targets on time
    • Work with department leaders and Venture Chairs to partner on talent strategy and target achievement
    • Iterate with internal stakeholders and Talent leadership to continually improve hiring processes 
    • Provide feedback to all stakeholders (candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, etc.) when needed 
    • Keep a sense of urgency, driven by motivation, within the team
    • Actively work to diversify the candidate and employee base for all requisitions
    • Continue to enhance the techniques, programs and processes to support rigorous, skills based hiring.
  • Create the best candidate experience in the world
    • Live by the recruiting guiding principles, putting candidates front and center 
    • Consistently works to improve candidate NPS over time
    • Manage and partner with operating company CEOs on hiring needs and empower their teams to recruit using the Redesign Method
    • Takes on individual recruiting to stay close to the candidate experience
  • Manage recruiting capacity and resources such that there are never recruiting capacity or administrative issues
    • Owns forecasting, budgeting and capacity planning for the team
    • Leverage Talent and company resources as a steward of the business; and instill that in their team 
    • Act as a steward of Redesign Health’s finances for things like T&E and talent spend
    • Manage the administrative process for full-cycle recruiting 
  • Build the most effective recruiting team on the planet
    • Build a bench of talented future leaders [both managers and individual contributors]
    • Constantly work to keep the team motivated through the use of autonomy, mastery and purpose
    • Develop team members, leveraging team competencies with action plans in place and being executed
    • Role model and mentor for all Talent team members on recruiting, including administrative tasks

What you'll need:

  • Background
    • 13+ years work experience with progressively increasing amounts of responsibility
    • 3+ years experience managing people leaders and leading multiple in-house recruiting teams of 10+ recruiters
    • Experience with skills-based and candidate-centric recruiting, in a fast paced recruiting environment
    • Currently recruiting for at least 10% of the work week

Creates a feeling of belonging and strong team morale. Building strong teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
    • Learn Continuously - Set yourself up for the shortest path to the widest impact. Don’t put business outcomes ahead of patient outcomes; and balance the needs of all stakeholders.
