HR Business Partner
Here at SeatGeek, we believe our team is an important unfair advantage. We also know that hiring, retaining, and developing people of all backgrounds powers that unfair advantage and are looking for an HRBP to join our People Team.
Reporting to our Senior Director, HRBP you will partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. You will help business leaders look toward data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the employee experience. You'll need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.
What you'll do

- Lead talent development and retention efforts for your business clients to ensure that essential talent is identified and that coaching and developmental opportunities are created and accomplished
- Support org design and headcount planning to ensure business clients meet their needs
- Build credibility and trust among employees. Resolve employee concerns through compassion, a systematic approach, clear documentation and strong follow-through
- Partner with the broader People team to ensure high quality implementation of critical HR operating rhythms such as performance management and compensation planning, leveraging resources as appropriate
- Support programs aimed at improving culture and engagement (e.g engagement survey action planning, connection with mission and values)
- Be a trusted advisor to functional business leaders, managers and employees and a thoughtful change champion for the organization as a whole
Who you are
- You love challenges, especially those that seem too big to tackle, or which seem to be outside of the scope of traditional HR
- While you have a firm grasp on generally accepted HR best practices, you have a knack for diving from strategic, to tackle to pragmatic. You believe in smart, customized HR approaches that are built with purpose and intelligence
- You have the mindset for constant experimentation and the stomach for challenging the status quo
- You focus on results, not process
- While people are your passion, you have a broad arsenal of business skills with a particular bent towards data analysis, project management and strategic planning

- You have superb judgment, integrity and presence
