HR Communications Specialist - Hybrid
JOB SUMMARY
Assist and support the delivery of accurate, timely and effective HR communications to Charter employees and HR team members, managing several projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will need to apply creative thinking, professional writing skills and functional HR knowledge to support innovative communication projects that raise awareness and appreciation of our employees' total rewards.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops clear and concise communications, including, but not limited to articles, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, emails, and video scripts
Ensures messaging is accurate, appropriate for the audience and that communications are consistent with our brand, including voice and visual identify
Performs day-to-day content management for both internal and external websites
Builds engaging and effective internal emails targeted to complex audience groups
Collaborates with others to execute effective communication strategies for employees and other stakeholders
Helps manage the submission and review process for Intranet articles, in partnership with the Internal Communications team
Helps maintain HR Comms Calendar
Identifies and tracks key performance metrics to report on results
Performs other duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data related to complex concepts and summarize them into clear and concise content
Develop communication strategies and track metrics
Manage cross-functional communication projects in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
Demonstrated project management and process improvement skills
Ability to own and support content development, design, review, and approval for communications initiatives
Expert level skill in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Self-motivated and able to grasp new concepts and tools quickly
Integrity, sound judgment, and attention to detail are a must with the passion to add value through strong networks and collaboration with all colleagues
Education
Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications or related field or equivalent experience, preferably with a focus on employee communications.
Related Work Experience
3 years' Communications experience
