At Namely, we're hiring an HR Generalist on the People team. As an HR Generalist, you’re well-versed in data and are now driven to grow your core HR expertise. You’ll build, improve, and optimize core People processes and data to lay the foundation for a world-class human resources team, at an HR company! You’ll also be responsible for the ins-and-outs of HR cycles and processes that build a better employee experience, starting from day one. Simply put, you’re a key player in the day-to-day operations of the People team as well as a voice in how we use data at Namely.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the new hire onboarding experience including first day orientation
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and cleanliness of internal HR data
  • Employee Engagement surveys including setup, communications, and reporting.
  • Performance Review cycles including setup, communications, and reporting. 
  • Leave of Absence process including distribution of paperwork, partnering with outside vendors, and answering employee questions. 
  • Partner with the Brokerage department on HR related activities including disciplinary issues, exit interviews, and engagement survey action planning. 
  • Own HR ticketing data (FreshService) to build-out an HR knowledge base for employees
  • Help manage employee changes in HRIS (salary changes, internal transfers, terminations, reporting relationships etc.)
  • Build and distribute internal HRIS (Namely) reports for stakeholders
  • Analyze new hire surveys, exit interview surveys, leave of absences, and other data sources to create and maintain quarterly reports for the senior leadership team. 
  • Identify projects and areas of improvement as well as help with ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and an interest in data, metrics, and trends
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Ability to balance competing priorities
  • Exercises professional maturity and discretion when dealing with sensitive data
  • Customer service oriented - there is no job too small or task too menial
  • Team player who enjoys a collaborative, and dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and client service skills with employees at varying levels of the organization
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and G-Suite platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience working in HR, at least 1 of which offered direct experience with HR data and reporting, or similar data and reporting experience
  • Experience working with unstructured data
  • Knowledge of HR process automation and solutions
  • You thrive in rapidly changing environments and can think quickly on your feet
  • You are solution-oriented problem solver, who enjoys building processes
