General Summary 

This is an opportunity for a 4-6month assignment to join the Total Rewards team within the Human Resources department in a supporting role focusing on HRIS tasks. The role requires 1-3 years of work experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. It is intended that the successful tech-savvy candidate will spend time in either our Bethpage, Long Island or Chelsea, NYC offices, primarily supporting the HRIS function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains HR analytical tools, reporting and dashboards:
  • Completes weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc HR reporting and data analysis
  • Responds to HR data requests from HR and other functions
  • Assists in the development of new reports, metrics and models
  • Audits HR data, validates calculations and troubleshoots irregularities
  • Data entry and review
  • Identifies and researches data errors and corrections
  • Maintains audits of the data in accordance with quality control standards and procedures

Experience Required:

  •  Bachelor's Degree in HRM, quantitative/technical or other relevant field preferred
  • Entry level with up to 3 years working experience
  • Strong MS Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, formula writing, charting, etc..), MS Access is a plus
  • Experience with relational databases and data entry
  • Attention to detail
  • Numerical accuracy
  • Critical thinking, in particular with process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Customer service orientation
  • Experience / exposure to HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, auditing or HR is a plus
