WHAT YOU'LL DO
Braze is undergoing an exciting transformation to improve our HR technology operations and systems. This HRIS Analyst / Manager role will sit within the People Operations team and will oversee the planning, project management, execution, and maintenance of our HR systems and integrations. They will also be responsible for taking our data and reporting to the next level as we support our fast-growing global teams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary owner and project manager of Workday HCM implementation and system administration.
- Develop and drive to execution robust project HRIS implementation project plans.
- Documenting existing processes in preparation for the implementation of an HRIS system
- Accountable for internal controls, data governance, and compliance of our systems, ensuring up-to-date documentation of business processes in support of SOC 2, GDPR and Data security, SOX, and operational excellence.
- Responsible for training the Trainers on Workday system and processes
- Maintain system integrity, including configuration of HR Systems and seamless integrations. (Workday, Greenhouse, Lattice, CultureAmp, LMS and PayScale)
- Grants appropriate security access based on roles for assigned applications
- Assists in reviews of HR systems, procedures and processes and provides recommendations for enhancements that will streamline business processes as a whole and will comply with company policies and governmental regulations.
- Designs and maintains dashboards, management and operational reports, providing the HR team and wider organization with accurate HR metrics and data.
- Recommends ongoing changes in methods, procedures or policies to improve specifically the effectiveness of HRIS capabilities.
- Oversee any data entry or administration of HRIS or peripheral systems in partnership with People Ops Coordinator
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a scrappy and detail-obsessed system manager with experience in the implementation and administration of large-scale HRIS. The right person will be system and process minded, with an exceptional ability to drive large scale projects to completion.
Requirements:
- 5 years HR experience with at least 2 years of HRIS (Workday) experience or currently certified in Workday
- Experience with, and thorough understanding of, multiple HR cloud-based systems
- Multiple HRIS and Integrations experience across various systems/teams (i.e., ATS, payroll, etc.)
- Experience with SOC 2, Global Data Privacy, and SOX compliance
- Strong project planning, management, risk monitoring and mitigation skills
- Experience providing documentation/visibility into key aspects of projects (e.g. progress, achievements, etc.) for senior leadership and other partners
- System Configuration experience
- Demonstrate high level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to collaborate and work in a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to clearly articulate messages with all levels in the organization, including breaking down complex topics for target audiences
- Ability to understand business priorities and align technology opportunities
- Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
- Maturity, flexibility, comfort with ambiguity and a sense of optimism/can-do attitude especially in the face of opposing demands and external pressures
- Action-orientation with excellent follow-through skills; works well independently and in teams in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
- Strong data analysis and complex report building skills.

- Advanced Google Suite and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
