The Job

 

In this role, you will lead & support Medly’s operations organization and its leaders.  It's an incredible opportunity to work with the leaders that are driving Medly’s continued growth in forever changing people’s access to healthcare. In addition, you will spend a portion of your time representing Medly and ensuring that the Functional HR teams understand the priorities and requirements of our operations functions globally.

 

As a strategic leader to the business you will strengthen people capabilities and enable scale across the organization. The ideal candidate is an HR professional with a strong business acumen, who is confident and capable of delivering impactful results in the areas of engagement, employee relations, manager development, talent management and total rewards. 

You must be able to effectively coach and influence people leaders, and assist the business in various talent areas such as talent, performance improvement, compliance and training. 

 

 

 

 

Success in the role: 

  • Works in tandem with with Directors of Operations on a daily basis on a wide variety of strategies and goals
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Provides day-to-day performance management and guidance to line management (eg. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Creates a recruitment plan and calendar according operation projections
  • Takes appropriate disciplinary action with employees who violate rules and regulations while addressing employee grievances
  • Evaluates employee performance and appraising pay scales accordingly
  • Creates onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
  • Creates employee engagement plans, getting management and employees to maintain certain standards set by the organization.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Planning: Demonstrate deep understanding of the business strategy to build and execute a complete talent agenda for the organization
  • Talent Management: Leads talent management and organizational planning strategies and processes to develop world-class executive talent.
  • Be a key driver of M&A assimilation through thoughtful integration efforts
  • Analyze employee data to create valuable insights & recommendations that improve employee experience.
  • Deliver coaching and insights that grow the leader effectiveness- regularly assess/diagnose organizational health and activate executive coaching skills.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional alignment with the HR ecosystem: Talent Acquisition, OD, Employee Relations, Compensation, etc.
  • Partners with brand leadership to identify gaps, build process and develop HR strategies to support business initiatives through people directly.
  • Acts as liaison with the HR COE teams to coordinate the development of programs, systems, and processes to be used by Medly to support the business.
  • Partners with sales leadership to identify gaps, build process and develop HR strategies to support business initiatives through people directly.

  • Leads the Insight survey and action planning strategy for the field organization. HRBP leads and supports the execution of tool utilization, training, and programs that increase employee engagement, retention, strengthen our key cultural indicators, & overall employee well-being.
  • Furthers Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives within Medly
  • Collaborates, strategizes, and participates with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers to acquire and retain top talent. Ensures talent assessment process is consistent across the business, creating equal opportunity for all employees and talent elevation.

 

 

About You:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues with a true generalist background
  • Experience driving large scale structural and organizational design and development efforts along with related change management activities
  • Experience building sophisticated business cases using data to tell a compelling story, and enable decision making
  • Experience building strong, multi-geo partnerships with all functions within our people organization.
  • Able to build talent strategies that align talent needs with strategic objectives
  • Self-motivated and independent to be able to do hands-on work with minimum supervision!

  • Travel required (up to 15%)
  • Experience supporting Operations functions and leaders a must
