Human Resources Business Partner
Movable Ink is hiring an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), to support our global population of 250+ employees. As an HRBP, you will partner with company leaders and employees to provide guidance on topics ranging from talent management, compensation, organizational effectiveness, employee relations and developing career paths.
As a fast paced, high growth SaaS company, this role is a hands-on opportunity to make real impact on the business. You will be viewed as an expert regarding the development and delivery of competitive HR initiatives to the business while simultaneously managing ongoing programs and tackling daily tasks - all with a healthy dose of humor. Reporting into the the VP of People, you will need to:
- Offer expert HR guidance to managers and employees in areas including talent management, development, retention, career planning; employee relations, organizational design and more
- Serve as an advocate regarding company policies, employee performance, culture/work environment and other issues; resolve conflicts effectively while minimizing legal exposure
- Collaborate with other People Team members to lead and execute processes that allow for seamless People programs, employee development, and new hire experience
- Remain current on HR practices along with applicable federal and local legislation and regulations and ensure compliance across your client groups
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive working experience and responsibilities as a HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or HR related role at a global company, with responsibilities supporting multiple functions
- Solid business acumen and understanding of US and some international labor laws
- Effective consulting and coaching skills; ability to build relationships with senior leaders and a complex set of stakeholders to drive organizational change
- Experience in HR specifically in the following areas: organizational design, performance management, diversity and inclusion, business consulting, coaching and development, talent management, data analysis, and employee relations
- Strong project management skills, with responsibility of managing global organizational projects and initiatives
- The ability to operate in an extremely fast moving company with a high degree of autonomy
- Demonstrated success for strategy and action; comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and engaging with deeply complex strategy discussion
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills; ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action-based analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diverse industry experience including corporate and start-up environments
- Proficiency in various HR technologies like ADP as well as general productivity tools like Google Apps and Slack
