About the Role:

We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our People Team as we build and scale the future of the Cityblock Employee (Cityfolx) experience. In this role, you will: 

  • Serve as a point of contact to team members, answering HR-related questions and directing traffic.
  • Work with Strategic Business Partners (SBP) to support organizations across Cityblock.
  • Pull reports and work with various team to locate various data sources.
  • Support HR programs and processes by working with the People Ops team to process employee changes and people-related transactions, such as manager changes, promotions, terminations, leave requests, compensation and other data tools.
  • Execute and deliver on internal process improvements to drive effectiveness and efficiencies for the SBP team.
  • Draft and maintain process documentation on the People Team intranet.
  • Lead full-cycle management of unemployment claims, audit preparations, etc.
  • Oversee our SBP mailbox which includes monitoring the email, assessing situations as they come in, communicating with the appropriate Strategic Business Partner, providing recommendations to requests, and tracking various excel sheets of information.
  • Coordinate any initiatives supporting the overall HR service delivery model at Cityblock including event planning and scheduling of various meetings and forums.
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements for the Role: 

  • 3+ year experience in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or HRIS role
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong powerpoint, excel and word skills 
  • Experience building and managing an intranet and/or sharepoint site
  • Experience communication with, and supporting, Executive Leadership 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

How We Define Success: (these are specific to the role, and should tie to performance management)

  • Develop effective documentation and tools to support 15 key SBP processes
  • Management of Transition of Leave pay processing to payroll function
  • Updated People Team Intranet 
  • Timely responses to request in the SPB mailbox  
  • Powerpoint presentations developed for SBP onboarding
  • Buildout of Policy Central tool for employee reference 

Nice to Have, But Not Required:

  • Ability to use Confluence
  • Experience using G-Suite 
  • Experience with HR related data analytics and reporting
