This is an opportunity for a generalist in Human Resources to join our growing team. Ideally this individual will have experience in compliance as well as benefits and policy creation. At DailyPay, we are only as good as our people, and the person in this role must be an invaluable resource for every employee. We are a growing company, and this role will lead our employee relations, take on and grow our programs for human resources, conduct employee trainings and onboarding, benefits, and ensure that as an employer, we are compliant to HR best practices and labor laws. This role will report into our internal Operations department, and work very closely with the People department at DailyPay

Responsibilities

  • New Employee Onboarding
  • Welcome new employees with the ability to act as a resource for all HR queries

    Responsible for the HR component of new employee induction and training

    Manage new employee documents and internal personnel files

  • Employee Relations
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle

    Own all employee documentation and ensure all personnel files are up to date

    Support managers in any performance issues with their team

  • Ongoing Employee Trainings
  • Conduct employee trainings for DailyPay employees on policies, compliance, and HR best practices in the workplace

  • Employee Benefits
  • Be the first point of contact for all benefit and HR related questions

    Administer all employee benefitsPolicy Planning & Execution

    Own the DailyPay Employee Handbook, ensuring all policies are communicated to the team and up to date

    Align internally to plan and execute new employee policies

Core Competencies & Accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related business field
  • 5+ years progressive experience in a Human Resources capacity
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Highly organized with a high level of attention to detail
  • High level of emotional intelligence with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • SHRM certification and professional HR affiliations are preferred but not essential
