What you will be doing

As the first learning and development hire at Eden Health, you will drive success by building the infrastructure and framework to train, ramp, and build skills across multiple teams. With a successful execution, you will empower our organization to grow in scale and consistency and exceed established metrics on time and quality of onboarded new hires. You will partner with the Manager, People Experience and Manager, Clinical Learning and Development to design and revamp both new and established learning models to ensure the team’s time is efficiently used to begin contributing. You will develop and implement new learning management systems and structures to support company-wide learning and development, with an initial focus on the clinical organization.

What success looks like

  • Architect, design and implement specialized learning and development training through company-wide learning management infrastructure
  • Manage the creative and content creation process in partnership with subject matter experts
  • Utilize data and feedback from stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine the appropriate course of action
  • Act as a point of contact for our future LMS, set strategic direction for the system, train staff on functionality, and troubleshoot issues
  • Create and manage program schedules to ensure trainees are on target
  • Train subject matter experts on how to train and deliver learning material
  • Proactively identify and systematize opportunities to refine training across the organization
  • Research new training techniques and best practices
  • Explore innovative ways to deliver content with a focus on new technology and systems to ensure consistency

What you will bring

  • 5-7 years of learning and development experience
  • A Self-starter mentality and ability to learn new things quickly 
  • Strong organizational knowledge and understanding of the current gaps within career development
  • Solid group facilitation and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and external vendors
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with employees at all levels and across all teams
  • Willingness to try different learning modalities and think outside the box to meet the needs of the learners 
  • Bachelor's degree a plus if it's related to Instructional Design 
  • Experience conducting technical training a plus
  • Experience in partnering with front line staff, especially clinicians, is a huge plus
