Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Reporting into our Chief People Officer, you'll design creative programs throughout the employee lifecycle to ensure a diverse workforce and equitable internal practices. You are an experienced DEI practitioner with the expertise to assess gaps, coach leaders, and measure progress and a passion to promote meaningful, long lasting change.
What you'll do
- Create successful design, implementation and long-term effectiveness of DEI strategies and programs throughout the talent lifecycle (hiring, performance management, compensation, career development, engagement and retention)
- Provide expertise and partner in the development and implementation of DEI training and internal programs with the People Team and broader organization
- Support executive communications on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness topics
- Establish benchmarks and metrics to ensure effectiveness of DEI programming. Analyze data to help identify trends, insights and gaps to inform strategy; develop and insightfully report out on metrics that measure progress and the effectiveness of our diversity and inclusion strategy
- Advise, coach, and guide all levels of leadership to build cultural competence
- Evaluate and maintain relationships with external organizations and partners (i.e., industry, non-profit, and community groups) that align with our strategic DEI goals
- Act as a genuine and trusted D&I advocate for employees and a change champion for the organization
- Create and moderate safe spaces for honest and practical dialogue around diversity and inclusion
What you have
- Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience implementing holistic DEI recruitment and talent management strategies
- A track record of success driving DEI strategy with positive results
- Impeccable integrity and professional ethics
- Previous HR experience and thoughtful understanding of HR practices and talent management processes, including performance management, compensation, internal mobility, engagement and retention
- Ability to operate as an effective , thoughtful partner to multiple functions within the People Team and broader organization
- Curiosity and open mindedness. You love teaching yourself new things and have an active interest in startups and technologies
- You are an operator - able to work on details while also being able to zoom out and focus on long-term strategy
