About the role:

Socure is seeking a talented Manager, People & Culture to help build a high-performing HR organization and a world-class culture. Together with the VP of HR, you'll ensure Socure attracts, develops, and retains exceptional talent who are committed to making a positive and meaningful impact on our company and our customers. Specifically, you will:

  • Help design and execute the full range of HR acitivities, from onboarding through offboarding
  • Be a trusted resource to the team. You'll handle day-to-day manager and employee inquiries with sensitivity, discretion, and fairness
  • Partner with recruiting to bring in exceptional talent, and design and execute an onboarding program that enables new hires to ramp up quickly
  • Work with managers and team members to ensure company, department, and individual goals are set and reviewed on a regular basis
  • Help drive strategy, design, and implementation of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs
  • Partner with our office manager to imagine and plan company events, and initiate programs that help our culture continue to thrive
  • Be flexible to manage other assignments as they come up

About you:

You embrace challenge and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment without the infrastructure (and bureaucracy) of a larger company. You are accustomed to using data to guide your decisions, comfortable challenging stakeholders appropriately, and excited about building out HR programs and processes in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment. Some key attributes we're looking for include:

  • A solid understanding of effective HR processes - you know what works and why
  • A passion for providing exceptional service to HR stakeholders - basically everyone!
  • Energized by working with a smart, fun team in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excited about the opportunity to help build a HR function from the ground up
  • A self-starter who loves autonomy and can handle the pressures of a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • 5+ years HR business partner experience, start-up or small company experience, a plus
