Founded in 2010, Handshake provides the B2B Commerce platform that helps manufacturers and distributors get closer to their customers with seamless ordering both in-person and online.

We are looking for someone with a lot of energy and passion who loves rolling up their sleeves and driving things forward autonomously. The Office & Employee Experience Coordinator will play a key role in building Handshake’s culture and creating an environment where people do their best work. You will report to the People Operations Manager and will be part of the People team at Handshake.

 Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Administrative support for reception functions such as sitting at the front desk, greeting guests, and other office tasks as required
  • Running smooth daily office operations and maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the office
  • Facilitating office supply, kitchen and pantry stocking
  • Organizing kitchen, fridge, coffee, dishes and other food and drink related employee experiences
  • Assisting with planning and management of client or company events, including Company All Hands, off-sites, trainings, celebrations and key internal / external meetings
  • Managing office improvement projects and Subtenant relationships
  • Vendor management: be the key contact for office management vendors working with external vendors related to office supplies, IT, equipment, as well as managing onsite cleaning staff
  • Managing planning and logistics associated with meetings and conference rooms
  • Administrative support for managing the CEO’s calendar such as scheduling meetings, travel, and calls
  • Keeping your finger on the pulse of the Handshake team, incorporating feedback and input to improve the workplace experience
  • Working with the Culture Committee to help maintain our strong office culture and execute fun events such as; Field Day, Happy Hour, etc.
  • Assist teams with various tasks and projects
