As our US team grows, we are looking for a full-time candidate to join our Operations team. You will work closely with senior staff and play a key role facilitating Operations and Human Resources procedures, processes and managing a range of general responsibilities.

The Role:

The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for execution of two payroll cycles for the company. You play an integral role in the life cycle of our employees, from compensation, payroll to benefits enrollment. The ideal candidate has experience in preparing multiple payrolls for a large employee population across the country, experience working with state agencies for payroll tax remittance, and has working knowledge of insurance agencies and renewals.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and input proper payroll data for two full cycle payrolls (Bi-weekly and semi-monthly)
  • Gathering and maintaining employee paperwork files
  • Ensure accurate entry of employee salaries, reported hours, bonuses, severance pay, deductions and withholding for 401(k), garnishment requests, county, state and federal taxes and benefits
  • Respond to payroll and benefit related inquiries in a timely manner
  • Partner with HR operations specialist to ensure timely and accurate processing of conversions, terminations, leave of absence, disability and unpaid/paid time off benefit payouts
  • Reimbursements
  • Assists with Group Benefits enrollments and coverage changes.
  • Assist with Open Enrollment and renewal strategy

  • Self-driven, deadline guru
  • Tech savvy
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll software, Namely a plus
  • Previous Admin, Human Resources or Operations experience a plus
