More about the role
Ever/Body looking for a People and Culture Manager to join our rapidly growing company in its early stage. In this role, You will be responsible for overseeing our office operations, supporting our growing HR function, and taking part in shaping and fostering our office culture. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, a people lover, a multitasker, a project manager, and a team player who is hungry for a challenge. As someone who knows the ins and outs of our office and the people who inhabit it, you will be the first point of contact of our candidates, our new hires, our employees when they need help, and you will be in the center of creating a unique culture with top-tier talents. As a trusted business partner, you will also provide administrative support to our CEO and COO. This role will have ample room to develop and grow into areas that the candidate is interested in developing further. This position will report to Chief Operating Officer in Ever/Body’s NYC Headquarter.
What you’ll do:
Office operations
- Set up our first HQ office (moving in September)
- Greet visitors, keep track of them and make them feel welcome in our space.
- Choose vendors for food and office supplies and manage these relationships.
- Suggest and plan team events inside and outside of the office.
- Distribute mail and packages.
- Monitor supplies and track spending.
- Help with the employee onboarding process.
- Be the point person on all things office-related.
Recruiting and HR support:
- Partner closely with leadership to define recruiting needs,
- Find and engage candidates through partnership with Redesign health talent team, outside recruiting firms, and other creative sourcing techniques.
- Help manage the recruiting process including keeping track of pipeline, scheduling interviews, and following up with candidates.
- Assist COO to establish, develop, and implement HR policies. Be the primary contact point of contact for employees regarding HR policies at Ever/Body.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree with a 3.5 or higher GPA.
- 2 - 4 years of experience as an office manager, administrator, or assistant (including experience during school).
- Impeccable email etiquette.
- Extensive experience with office software (Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Office products).
- Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
- A “no task too small” mindset–fixing things is your jam.
- Can work quickly and knows how to prioritize.
- Can come up with creative solutions and work around problems.
- You like making people happy and you’re smart about the way you do it.
- Curious and open-minded, always striving to improve and learn.
- Resilient in the face of rejection and failure.
- Must be able to multi-task and manage a robust/full pipeline with efficiency and constant attention.
