What We're Looking For:
The People Business Partner will work to deliver outstanding employee experiences through projects and processes that seek to improve employee lifecycle. This role will help develop and improve programs and policies and automate processes. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a positive attitude and exhibits patience, teamwork, critical thinking skills, and emotional intelligence.
Business Partners have a broad knowledge of People/Human Resources functions, from hiring and onboarding to employee compensation and evaluation. This role will be responsible for driving a diversity of HR efforts, focusing on programs like learning and development, employee engagement, and retention. You’ll undertake a wide range of tasks like organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves. You will use our Human Resources Information System to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on People-related topics and champion our company culture.
At Domio You Will:
- Advocate for the employees across the organization to make their experience seamless by assisting throughout the employee lifecycle
- Own projects in support of the employee experience including employee mobility, immigration, and inter-company transfers
- Be a trusted advisor in all sensitive People areas such as employee relations, investigations, leaves of absences, and compensation
- Partner with the team to develop manager and team trainings focused on development, culture, and career progression
- Act as the People Partner to the Hospitality Field operations business unit
- Administer compensation and benefit plans
- Perform orientations, conduct employee onboarding, and help organize training & development initiatives
- Handle inbound employee inquiries, identify needs, process necessary transactions in our ATS and HRIS systems, and escalate issues
- Partner with client group through core HR processes (e.g., performance management, compensation planning, engagement surveys)
- Proactively manage legal risk - ensures manager and employee compliance with company policies and governmental regulations
- Proactively respond to employee questions regarding but not limited to the following: employee relations, company policies, learning and development, leaves and compensation and resolve/escalate any issues that may arise
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics (e.g. time to hire and employee turnover rates)
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks and issuing employment contracts
Who You Are:
- 3-5+ years of People Operations/Human Resources generalist experience required; more experienced candidates will be considered for other HR department roles as available
- Experience with full employee lifecycle
- Strong employee relations experience
- Experience working on projects focused on the enhancement of the employee lifecycle through process improvements, automation, data, and insights
- Prior experience in Shared Services and/or as an HR Generalist in a fast-paced start up, technology company, or complex global organization
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement and exceeding client expectations
- Analytical skills, including reporting and synthesizing data to identify themes and create solutions to address those issues
