The Role:Our People Operations team is growing! We are looking for an experienced and driven People Operations/HR Compliance Leader to manage and keep DailyPay’s people practices fully compliant as we expand to new locations including internationally. The best candidates should have solid experience working with revenue departments including sales, implementations, customer success and business development. Solid knowledge of employee relations, HR compliance and practices in New York City and other US based locations currently including Reno, Minneapolis, California, and Colorado as well as cross border collaboration with our Northern Ireland (Belfast) team. Ultimately, you should be comfortable working across the organization, with counterparts in Legal, Compliance, Total Rewards, Talent, the People Partner team, and business leaders, using strong collaboration and communication skills. Additionally, as a rapidly scaling organization, you should be comfortable anticipating the downstream implications of various changes such as opening new offices or new workplace strategies. You should be skilled at promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within all people related practices and considering the implications on our workforce of policy and process changes.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Partner with business leaders, department heads, Legal, Compliance, and members of the People Operations team to identify areas of opportunity, prioritize, scope and determine resource plans and roadmaps
  • Document, implement, and communicate People policies and processes
  • Set up and manage compliance related record keeping and workflows for required postings, document management, record retention
  • Manage all COVID compliance protocols for DailyPay leased and co-working spaces in partnership with the Workplace, Employee Experience, People, and Legal teams
  • Lead Immigration related cases working with Business Partners, leaders, colleagues and where relevant outside counsel

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field) 
  • 7+ years of HR experience with solid knowledge of legal compliance
  • High capacity for managing multiple projects simultaneously, influencing and gaining credibility with all levels of employees and management
  • Experience with immigration processes, HR compliance at the federal and state levels
  • Agility, speed, and partnership mindset
  • Substantive professional experience working with sales and revenue teams
  • High degree of comfort working with data to make strategic decisions
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly; outstanding follow up and EQ
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality absolutely required
  • A passion for our employees and for what we do
  • Excellent time and project management skills. There's a lot to do!
