The People Ops Coordinator plays an integral part in managing People Operations processes and the employee experience at Namely. The ideal candidate will be highly self motivated with a desire and capacity to learn and grow in the team. You’ll be a key player in the day-to-day operations of the People team and be responsible for building an exceptional employee experience, from day one onward.

Responsibilities  

  • Own and optimize new hire onboarding experience including communications, system setup, first day orientation, I-9 verification, new hire orientation and management of new hire buddy program
  • Provide support to Namely employees by responding to inquiries and requests including employment verifications, leaves of absence requests, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, benefits administration, etc.
  • Manage and optimize employee changes in HRIS (transfers, terminations, etc.), and maintain optimal system setup for record-keeping and data collection.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute internal HRIS (Namely) reports for stakeholders
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and cleanliness of internal HR data
  • Translate HR ticket queue data (ZenDesk) into the build-out of an HR knowledge base for employees
  • Manage logistics and improvement of the offboard process
  • Assist with setup and administration of major People Ops cycles with a strong focus in Learning and Development initiatives
  • Manage the LMS (Litmos) and course assignments for all employees

Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 - 3 years of professional experience with at least 1 in HR
  • The ability to own and balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
  • Must be a team player who enjoys high volume, fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Exercises professional maturity and discretion when dealing with sensitive data
  • Strong communication skills with employees at every level of the organization, attention to detail, resourcefulness, collaboration and organization skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on progressively more responsibilities and grow within the People team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with the Namely product
  • Experience working with unstructured (i.e., qualitative) data
