People Operations Coordinator

Position Overview
As Catalyst’s sole People Operations Coordinator & an early member of the broader People team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our infrastructure, programs, & processes. You will be an integral point of contact for our internal stakeholders on a variety of questions, and will be essential in helping to support the day-to-day people operations of a growing team. This is a unique hybrid opportunity in that you’ll also own the recruitment coordination for each of our open roles, and will gain firsthand insight into the talent acquisition function of a fast-growing startup!
What You’ll Do
- Own the maintenance of all employee systems of record across our HR tech stack, including our HRIS, payroll, & benefits platforms
- Serve as the internal point of contact for each of our third-party vendors
- Support our Head of People & Places in managing our benefits offerings, ensuring that employees have a comprehensive understanding of what is available to them
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for all employees, including assessing and iterating on existing processes as we scale
- Manage calendar coordination for all interview loops, ensuring that candidates feel supported and engaged from their first interview through the offer stage
- Ensure that our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, is up-to-date and accurately reflects where each candidate is within their respective process
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally within an early-stage, growth-oriented company
- The utmost degree of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-described “people person,” who is eager to establish strong working relationships with employees across the organization
- A passion for all things people - a can do attitude that encourages people to seek help and support
