Role

We’re looking for a self-motivated and resourceful People Operations Coordinator to join and support our People & Talent team. This individual will work collaboratively across the team to develop and implement key processes, manage employee data and maintain our systems. This individual will be the first point of contact for employee inquiries with confidentiality and professionalism and support key Cadre team moments and celebrations.


What You’ll Do:

  • Provide support to the People & Talent team, across key processes and programs including performance management, learning and development, employee relations and engagement
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees with HR related inquiries; answer employees in a professional manner and triage complex inquiries to the right parties
  • Support new hires during the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for each new hire
  • Partner with related departments to ensure onboarding and off-boarding is smooth
  • Organize information, employee files and maintain electronic records
  • Ensure that employee records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Partner with the People Programs Manager and People Partner to redesign and automate business processes in our HRIS (we use Zenefits)
  • Handle confidential and non-routine information when necessary
  • Participate in Cadre Culture Committee to help organize company events and employee engagement
  • Manage office vendors and processes for our New York office to ensure that our space meets the needs of our team (when it reopens)


What You Have

  • BS or BA required- HR, business, economics degree a plus
  • 1+ year of experience in people ops and/or coordination at a tech company
  • A passion for human resources
  • An interest in investments or financial technology is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Familiarity with Google Suite tools (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Slides Google Docs, etc)
  • Strong time-management and organization skills with an obsession for details
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build relationships across the organization
  • Innovative spirit, self-motivated with a desire to work in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to function effectively with others on the team and independently
