Job Description
As a People Operations Generalist you'll be joining a small, but mighty team of people passionate about creating the best experience possible for our employees. In this role you'll;

  • Own the onboarding process and employee experience:
    • Ensure that all new employees are set up for success from before day one with their new hire communication, background checks, I9s, benefits onboarding, employee training schedules, etc.
    • Iterate on current onboarding process to continue to streamline processes and improve the experience
  • Manage the employee lifecycle and HR data and systems:
    • Ensure all employee and prospective employee paperwork is complete, accurate, and in compliance with local, state and/or country compliance laws
    • Ensure all benefit enrollments and eligibility files are processed timely
    • Own the management of BambooHR system
  • Enhance our Employee Experience:
    • Collaborate with HR team and managers to establish a regular cadence of employee events and team bonding activities, including event planning for teams and company-wide events
    • Participate in employee relations efforts and help drive a continuous feedback culture to achieve employee satisfaction and business goals


  • Support People Operations Projects:
    • Support the People Operations Manager with HR projects, including, but not limited not, rollout of stay interview process, reporting on data from onboarding and exit surveys and crafting actions from those, HRIS audit, systems implementation and integration
    • Assist with ensuring compliance with company handbook and staying abreast of any new legislation that applies to businesses of our size
    • Help drive successful and scalable annual Engagement Survey and performance review cycles.
    • Ensure compliance on all compliance-related notifications and actions
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed


Requirements:

  • 5-7 years HR Operations experience in a fast-paced and highly evolving environment
  • Proven track record of successfully building effective working relationships across departments.
  • Must exercise absolute discretion both inside and outside the company
  • Experience an HRIS; experience with BambooHR a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting operational HR programs, including onboarding and HRIS maintenance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Small ego, owner mentality and sense of humor are a must
  • Willingness to roll up their sleeves - we have to be willing and positive about wearing a lot of hats!
