We’re looking for an absolute people-geek to report to our VP of People & Operations and help build an organization and a culture that will enable our continued growth and success. Our company is doubling in size year-over-year and we’re experiencing the joys and the pain-points that come with that. We need someone who exudes positive energy and is equally passionate about performance management, world-class hiring practices and employee enablement. You read everything people related you can get your hands on, and you have strong opinions about the best practices that a growing company should implement--along with the drive to make these things happen in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Own our sourcing and hiring process from end to end
    • Develop and track the effectiveness of various talent sourcing strategies
    • Implement the highest quality vetting and hiring processes -- Clear job requirements, thoughtful assessments, structured interviews
    • Work with our office manager / recruiting coordinator to ensure a flawless candidate experience
  • Onboarding and Orientation
    • Make the critical new hire experience engaging and thougtful
    • Work with the VP to help figure out how to educate new hires on everything Quovo--both upfront and through continuing Learning & Development
  • Employee Experience
    • Through planned activities, ad hoc perks and your own bubbly personality, help create an environment that encourages employees to have some fun while they work hard to achieve our ambitious goals
    • Help craft and implement thoughtful policies that balance business needs with an employee experience that people can brag about

About You:

  • You’ve been working for 3 - 6 years in a professional office with a minimum of 2 years at a fast growth startup
  • You have a deep passion for the People function, both practically and intellectually, though we’re open to candidates who have been working in a different function currently
  • You are highly outgoing and can infect others with your upbeat attitude even during stressful times
  • You’re a strong advocate for your ideas and aren’t afraid to have thoughtful disagreements when necessary
  • You’re organized and like to get things done as soon as possible
