Your New Role...
As a Recruiter (Sports), you'll partner with leaders across WBD Sports to understand their talent needs. You'll spend your time engaging top talent in the market and getting them excited about the work we do. You'll rely on traditional and non-traditional methods to identify candidates. You'll manage the end-to-end recruiting process (posting roles, leading kickoffs, screening & evaluating candidates, managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, serving as an advisor to hiring managers, prioritizing diversity, ensuring the interview process is inclusive, and, finally, offer negotiation).
The Recruiter will support Marketing, Design, Corporate Communications, PR, Business Operations, Business Development & Strategy, Studios, Research, Talent Relations and Production as needed for WBD Sports & Studios.
This role will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will be based in any of our hubs (ATL and NY) with some travel.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Partner with various stakeholders to understand business, department, and position needs.
- Develop effective talent sourcing strategies inclusive of DEI, internal talent, and intern pipelines.
- Leverage tools to heavily source candidates (Workday, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Boolean search, etc.).
- Advise hiring managers on the interview process, best practices, market intelligence, and salary negotiation.
- Collaborate with the WBD Diversity Outreach team to target, attend, and source from key industry events and bespoke activations.
- Support, educate, and advocate for internal talent.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 2+ years' experience in a sports or media talent acquisition organization.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with external/internal talent, People & Culture Partners, and executives.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand various business functions across the sports organization.
- Strong process management, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $61,516.00 - $114,244.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
