ActionIQ is at the center of a data-driven revolution that is changing the way brands think about customer experience, digital transformation and the value of customer data as a core corporate asset. We are looking to hire a recruiter to help us attract top talent on the non-Engineering side of the business. As ActionIQ’s first non-technical recruiter, you will use data and creativity to attract talent in order to help our hiring managers build high performing, inclusive teams. We are looking for someone who has recruited for tech startups in a full-cycle capacity, and who has solid knowledge of the competitive landscape.

What You’ll Do:

Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing for our Field and Business teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Engagement, etc.)
Work with the Head of People and the leadership team to build a recruiting process that scales with the company and leads to excellent candidate experience
Build and maintain a strong network of diverse candidates through multiple channels of engagement
Align with hiring managers to successfully drive the recruiting process and serve as a consultant and advisor on recruiting and industry trends
Partner with leaders to refine and promote our employer brand
Own and manage our Applicant Tracking System
Work to build a foundation for analytics in the recruiting space, allowing us to take a data driven approach to our talent decisions

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a recruiter, with a proven track record in sourcing and engaging passive candidates
Experience in the Tech startup space
A strong network from which to source candidates that extends beyond LinkedIn
Data and process-driven mindset
Proven experience collaborating with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization
Passion for building pipeline and strong closing skills

Nice to Have

MarTech-specific experience
Prior experience developing and delivering interview training to hiring teams
Led projects focused on employer brand development

Building The Bridge Between Data and Product

Data shapes business operations at ActionIQ, which makes Data Scientist Amanda Pogue’s embedded role unique on the product team. It’s part of the company’s goals of bringing product analytics to the forefront of product release, like the new customer-facing dashboard. “It gives me the opportunity to better enable the product and design teams to use data in their day-to-day,” she said. With her transition to product, Pogue gains better insight into the needs of the business and the product development process. It also presents an avenue to advocate for data projects in the product pipeline.

There is no shortage of interesting questions to investigate, and plenty of curious colleagues with whom to collaborate.

Innovative Work Backed By High Quality Standards

As ActionIQ’s first embedded QA engineer, Tina Tyavlovskaya sought not only to replace the company’s third-party testing process but to shed the perception of QA as one that impedes progress. “QAs define quality standards across the engineering org and provide guidance on how to meet these standards,” she said. Moving QA in-house required a revamped strategy: a “priority-based test scope approach” with a mix of automated and commercial tools to meet team requirements and generate better coverage. There’s also the migration to Cypress, a more efficient tool for parallel testing and development.

QAs are not gatekeepers or bottlenecks in software development life cycles, but facilitators of constant integration and efficient testing processes.
