Hi, we’re Oscar.

We are changing how health insurance works. Our goal is to make health insurance simple, transparent and human. We need your help to do so. We brought together leaders from top technology, service and healthcare companies to work side by side to disrupt health insurance. The result? Better people, better ideas, and better healthcare.

About the Role:

In our recruiting model, our coordinators are the empowered backbone of our team; you stay on top of things and deliver an outstanding candidate experience. And that will make you grow, fast. Our recruiting coordinators usually move up and quickly into full recruiter roles, and we're looking for new additions to our coordinator team.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting is about process: First and foremost, you own the recruiting process and ensure that all necessary steps in the process are planned, and consistently delivered.

  • Recruiting is about people: the coordinator is a super-connector. Keep your clients, i.e. candidates, hiring managers and recruiters, in the loop. Build relationships, keep everyone on track.

  • Get stuff done, efficiently: You'll be scheduling interviews, working directly with candidates and hiring managers. No better way to learn how to work and prioritize well.

  • You'll get visibility into plenty of things going on, learn from it and improve. This role will build your foundation for being a top recruiter or people professional.

About you:

  • What your undergraduate degree is in, doesn't matter. That you were good at it does.

  • Realistically, you have some practical experience with driving process, setting expectations and executing.

  • You are passionate about people, you like getting things done.

  • Above all else, you must be highly organized and create excellent partnerships, be a strong team player.

  • You love taking initiative and proactively provide suggestions on how to streamline and improve processes.

At Oscar, being an Equal Opportunity Employer means more than upholding discrimination-free hiring practices. It means that we work to cultivate an environment where exceptional people can be their most authentic selves and find both belonging and support. We're on a mission to change healthcare -- an experience made whole by your unique background and perspectives.

Oscar applicants are considered solely based on their qualifications, without regard to applicant’s disability or need for accommodation. Any Oscar applicant who requires reasonable accommodations during the application process should contact the Oscar Benefits Team ([email protected]) to make the need for an accommodation known.

Pay Transparency Policy: Oscar's Pay Transparency Policy ensures that you won't be discharged or discriminated against based on whether you've inquired about, discussed, or disclosed your pay. Read the full policy here.
