Recruiting Lead
In this role, you will “found” the recruiting team here at our HQ, owning all Business and Technical recruiting. Your mandate will be to drive the business toward our aggressive hiring targets. This is an amazing opportunity for someone eager to build a recruiting function from 0 to 1 on an ambitious, fast-growing, fun team.
This role is as much about Process as it is about People. You’ll own the build out of our recruiting playbooks -- a set of workflows, trainings, and interview kits that make the Great Jones recruiting process seamless and highly effective. Your candidates will comment on how smooth, quick and thorough, our interview process feels to them.
In this role you’ll also have the opportunity to build our recruiting “stack”. You’ll stand up a new ATS, and architect how we’re meant to use it. You’ll recommend other tech or tools you’ve found to be impactful, too with an eye towards operational excellence.
You’ll also be tasked with building our Employer Brand. How do we make Great Jones a “must know” company among A-player prospective employees across all functions? Creative license will be yours to make it happen (think owning online presence, sponsorships, events, speaker series…).
Lastly, you’ll partner with the leadership team to think strategically about hiring planning and organizational design as we continue to grow a rapidly scaling, multi-market organization.
This role is based in our New York City HQ and will report to our Head of Growth.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, recruit, recruit. Drive the business to achieve our aggressive hiring goals each month, quarter, year.
Technical recruiting. Play a key role in the build out of world class tech and product teams.
Playbooks. Design and implement a Great Jones recruiting playbook to standardize and streamline our recruiting efforts. Iterate on this process constantly.
Recruiting “stack”. Define and build our recruiting stack with operational excellence in mind (ATS, tools, systems).
Employer Brand. Get creative in turning Great Jones into a “must know” brand for prospective employees at all levels, across all functions.
Org Design. Partner with Leadership teams to think strategically about organizational design.
Professional Qualifications:
6+ years of work experience ideally at a high-growth startup
3+ year of functional recruiting experience
Experience recruiting for technical hires
A track record of achieving aggressive hiring targets
Experience running an operationally excellent recruiting process
Experience with people management a plus
