Recruiting Operations Manager
The Role

Cedar is seeking an experienced Recruiting Operations Manager to help us scale the talent function and achieve peak operational effectiveness. This individual will help to assess our processes, tools/systems, data/metrics and give strategic guidance to the recruiting team and business leaders across the company. Key initiatives include, but are not limited to: improving candidate experience, decreasing time to hire, building data capabilities across the team, testing/designing new processes.
This Recruiting Operations Manager will manage our Recruiting Coordinators, and report to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, however will gain exposure across all of Cedar. You will partner with Recruiting, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, etc.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of highly engaged Recruiting Coordinators, helping them to continually develop and advance in their profession.
- Prioritize and triage a variety of critical programs that will directly impact the success of Cedar’s recruiting function (ie, candidate experience, DEI, branding, interviewer capacity and training)
- Find opportunities to improve processes, tools, systems and create new programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with Recruiting Leadership and Finance to ensure we are developing robust requisition management systems and capacity models.
- Manage all current recruiting tools/systems/vendors while exploring new versions to help the team scale.
- Improve learning paths for the recruiting team in order to build a proactive and consultative function.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of progressive strategic HR/Recruiting experience, with 3+ of those in HR/Recruiting Operations.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership/people management, with a focus on team development and building an inclusive culture.
- Data driven attitude, and an interest in always finding ways to leverage metrics in decision making.
- Experience ideating, designing, and implementing staffing related programs.
- Excellent project management skills, effectively balancing scope/time/cost.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of HR tools/systems and how/when best to implement them.
