Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Senior Compensation Analyst will be responsible for strengthening our compensation, sales incentive and equity programs. This person will be responsible for executing Transfix’s compensation processes, driving the sales incentive program planning, and ensuring the continuation of a strong equity program.

What you'll do:

  • Own and coordinate external compensation data collection and maintenance
  • Own the operational design for incentive tracking for existing and newly commissioned roles, products, or SPIFFs
  • Assess alignment with internal and external total compensation data to ensure our program is internally equitable, externally competitive, and continues to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Gather constructive feedback from a wide cross section of sales, sales operations, finance, and HR leaders to create world class compensation plans that achieve desired outcomes
  • Partner with Sales and Finance leadership to drive the annual Sales Incentive Compensation planning and design process by creating the compensation plans and programs for the sales organization that incorporate quotas, accelerators, bonus programs, and SPIFF
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to merit and bonus processes
  • Analyze HR data related to compensation, rewards, attrition, cost, promotion rates, engagement, and performance
  • Serve as an internal consultant to business leaders and executive leadership teams on matters related to global compensation including job/role review, motivators, sales incentives design, and administration
  • Support Human Resources Business Partners and the Talent Acquisition team with compensation related issues, approvals, questions, communications, and company-wide education
  • Work with the HRIS Analyst to update our systems with current data and compensation changes
  • Build and generate recurrent and ad-hoc compensation reports, guides, and presentations for Human Resources, Legal, Finance, managers, and senior leadership for the purposes of strategic decision-making and education
  • Support the annual performance management and compensation cycles through data analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, and the development of communications
  • Find opportunities for process improvement as it relates to compensation and workforce processes and collaborate with other HR team members to ensure effective and efficient integration of compensation and rewards processes with other critical programs across HR
  • Ensure that all aspects of plan design and administration remain in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Ensure practices upheld through the analysis of existing policies, guidelines and procedures

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience working in compensation or related function
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience required working with sales incentive compensation plans and processes
  • Experience with equity/long-term incentives preferred
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to learn and understand financials, and relay learnings to the business
  • Expertise in in Excel and Google Sheets (v-lookups, averageifs, sumifs, pivot tables)
  • Experience with HRIS technology and market data vendors
  • Exceptional analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously, but take direction as needed
  • Strong project management skills: good follow-through on cross-functional plans, projects and goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills; with the ability to tailor communication to a variety of stakeholders
  • Results-oriented and able to balance multiple priorities, working quickly and nimbly
  • Strong collaborator and influencer; able to build strong partnerships with internal and external partners
  • You are a self-starter who loves taking initiative and proactively provide suggestions to streamline and improve processes
